Go Purdue!

We went up to West Lafayette last weekend to cheer on Purdue. Unfortunately we didn't cheer hard enough because they lost in OT. OH well hopefully this week they can pull off a win. Despite the yucky weather on Fri. and Sunday, Sat. was actually really nice for the game. We decided to take Kaylie to her first Purdue game which she loved. My parents were babysitting for Caden and Olivia so we took Caden with us as well. They both really enjoyed themselves and we enjoyed taking them.
Here are a few pictures from the day.

When we got home on Sunday we had some really crazy weather. The effects of Hurricane Ike decided to visit and give us 70 mph winds. I have never seen anything like it. We were without power for 3 hrs. and we were lucky because as of last night (Tues.) there were still several people without power in Batesville and Cinci. When we drove around there were a lot of houses damaged and huge trees uprooted. It looked as though we had a tornado. We had house damage along with most of the people around us and a tree blown over, but we were lucky.

We are going to the game tomorrow. I love the kids Purdue clothes, you sure are a die hard family of Purdue fans even your niece and nephew had their PU clothes on. We need to get together soon. We are actually meeting up with some friends at Libery Park on Monday around 11:30 if you would like to join us.

Although the pictures are so adorable, and the kids are getting so big..Another generation of children is being brainwashed.... poor, poor children. Tell them when Aunt Jackie comes home, I will help them see the light!!!!!

Love ya,
Aunt Jackie

Yikes on the bad weather! Glad that it was only some slight damage! It's weird how no one inland was really ready for what Ike did. The picture at the fountain is one of my favorite!
